Your questions, answered

At Reiki & Foot Massage in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, we believe in transparency and ensuring you have all the information you need before your session. Here are some of the most common inquiries we receive.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a universal energy that flows down through the practitioner, out from their hands, and into the client where needed. It is a gentle, hands-on healing technique used for stress reduction and relaxation, promoting the body's natural healing abilities.

What happens during a Reiki session?

During a Reiki session, you will lie comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. The practitioner will gently place their hands on or slightly above various areas of your body, allowing the Reiki energy to flow. Most people experience deep relaxation, warmth, or a tingling sensation.

What should I know before my session?

It is important to understand that our sessions are professional, therapeutic, and non-sexual. You will remain fully dressed in comfortable clothing throughout your session. For foot massages, we kindly ask that you ensure your feet are clean prior to your appointment. Reiki is not a replacement for medical services; please consult your doctor for any health concerns.

Do you massage any other parts of the body?

Our services are focused on Reiki energy healing and foot massage only. We do not offer massage services for other parts of the body.

Are your sessions sexual?

Absolutely not. All our sessions are strictly professional and therapeutic in nature. We maintain a safe and respectful environment for all our clients.

Can I be naked during my session?

No, clients remain fully dressed in comfortable clothing for both Reiki and foot massage sessions. There is no requirement or expectation to undress.

Can I come to you?

Not at this time. We are working on a place, you will be able to come to in the future.
